Shipping Policy
How Mia Hardware Ships Worldwide
Mia Hardware ships worldwide from our own warehouse in Shenzhen, China. Every order is picked, inspected, weighed and packed by our team, and we consolidate multiple items into one parcel wherever possible to keep freight costs down.
1. Order Processing Time
- In-stock items: 1-2 business days to pick, inspect and pack.
- Made-to-order and custom items: 5-15 business days, confirmed by email.
- Bulk and wholesale orders: quoted individually.
Orders placed on weekends or Chinese public holidays are processed on the next working day. You receive a tracking number by email as soon as your parcel leaves the warehouse.
2. Shipping Destinations
We ship to most countries, grouped into four rate zones:

3. Shipping Rates
Rates are calculated automatically at checkout from the combined weight of the items in your cart, and are shown before you pay. All prices are in US dollars.

4. Free Shipping
Free standard shipping is available in every zone. Because freight is priced by weight, the order subtotal you need depends on how heavy the parcel is:

- The threshold is measured on the merchandise subtotal after discounts, before duties and taxes.
- Express shipping is never free; it is always charged at the express rate.
- Oversize and freight items (section 6) are excluded from free shipping.
- If a return reduces your order below the threshold for its weight, the standard shipping rate for the remaining order weight is deducted from the refund.
5. Delivery Time
Delivery time runs from dispatch, not from the moment you place the order.

These are working-day estimates. Customs inspection, national holidays and peak season can add time. If your tracking has not updated for 10 business days, contact us and we will open a trace with the carrier.
6. Oversize, Heavy and Freight Items
Some products are too large or too heavy to move as a parcel. Items such as electric stackers, tool cabinets, loading ramps, storage racks, tyre repair machines, manhole covers and equipment over 150 kg or over 150 cm on the longest side ship by air or sea freight instead.
- Add the item to your cart and choose Request a freight quote, or email us the product link and the quantity you need.
- We reply within 1 business day with a firm all-in price, a transit time and your delivery options.
- Sea freight is the most economical choice for heavy goods, typically 30-45 days door to door.
- Freight orders are confirmed and settled by proforma invoice before dispatch.
- Buying several heavy items together almost always costs less per unit. Ask us to quote the whole consignment.
7. Customs, Duties and Taxes
Prices on this site exclude import duties, taxes and customs clearance fees.
- Shipments are dispatched DDU / DAP by default, which means the receiver is responsible for any duty, VAT, GST or clearance fee charged by the destination country.
- If you need duties included and paid by us (DDP), tell us before you order and we will quote the DDP price in writing.
- Customs rules changed substantially in 2025, including the removal of the United States de minimis exemption for low-value shipments. Most international parcels are now subject to duty assessment. Check your own country rules, or ask us and we will advise.
- We declare shipments at their true value and description. We cannot mark orders as gifts or under-declare value.
- If a shipment is refused at customs or abandoned, the outbound freight cost is not refundable.
8. Tracking
You receive a tracking number by email when your order is dispatched. Tracking can take 24-48 hours to activate, and some postal services do not record events inside China. If your tracking looks stalled, contact us before opening a dispute – we usually see more detail on the carrier side than the public tracking page shows.
9. Split Shipments
If your order contains items with different processing times, we may ship the available items first at no extra charge. You are never billed a second shipping fee because we split an order.
10. Incorrect or Incomplete Address
Please check your shipping address carefully before paying. We can change an address at any time before dispatch. Once a parcel has left us, a change of address is often not possible. A parcel returned to us as undeliverable is refunded minus the outbound freight cost, and reshipping is charged at the applicable rate.
11. Lost, Damaged or Short Shipments
- Damaged in transit: email chenan6588@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the outer carton, the shipping label and the damaged item. We send a replacement part or a full refund, and we cover the return freight.
- Short or incorrect item: contact us within 7 days of delivery. We ship the correct item at our cost or refund it in full.
- Lost in transit: if tracking shows no movement for 20 business days on a standard service, we treat the parcel as lost and replace or refund it without waiting for the carrier claim to close.
12. Remote and Restricted Destinations
Remote islands, PO boxes and some military addresses may attract a surcharge or may not be serviceable at all. We will contact you before dispatch if your address falls into one of these categories. Batteries, aerosols, flammable liquids and some chemicals are restricted on air services and may have to travel by sea.
