The HS-1115K works like a catalytic gas iron: butane from the chamber in the handle feeds the element in the tip, and the iron reaches soldering temperature without a cord. Three buying options are offered. The boxed version is the retail pack, the plain pack carries the iron and its accessories without the retail case, and the handle-only option is a direct replacement for a workshop that already holds the tips and accessories.
