Why blade width matters more than length

A tape can only stand out unsupported for about ten times its blade width: a 19 mm blade reaches roughly 1.9 m, a 25 mm blade roughly 2.5 m or more. On a long measurement, that is what decides whether one person can do the job.

White painted and self-locking
